Cost Per Sale (CPC) Affiliate Marketing

What is it? Similar to CPA marketing but this time affiliates get paid whenever a visitor who clicked on their advertisement generates a sale.

Now of course it is harder to generate sales than it is to generate actions (CPA) but the commission the affiliate will receive is generally much, much more. For example on the leading affiliate cost per sale network, 'ClickBank', the payouts range from around $10.00 right up $100.00 - $500.00

Most of the offers on the network ClickBank are self selling. Meaning that once you have driven the traffic to your linked offers, the website you have linked them to will sell itself to the visitor. Professionals spend hours working on their landing pages ensuring that every aspect of the page is going to convince the visitor to invest in their product.

Lets put this into numbers, say you find an offer that pays $30.00 to the affiliate for each generated sale. Invest in some traffic on facebook or google (shouldn't cost too much) You can probably purchase 100,000 impressions for around $50 - $80. Say that you have a 1% click through rate on your ad, that means 1% of the 100,000 people that see your ad will click on it (1% is generally quite low). So that means 1,000 people are linked to your offer. If the traffic is relevant you should get at least 1% of the 1,000 people, making purchases. That is a minimum of 10 sales! If the payout is $30.00 then you have just made yourself $300.00! Remember we only worked with 1% conversion which is low!

Here is a helpful guide that will point you in the right direction and optimize your results. This guide has a reputation of allowing beginners to make their first thousand!
